Wise May are looking for a Finance Administrator to join a Management Consultancy business based in Central London.

As a Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Director across the full accounting lifecycle to include accruals, pre-payments, banking and balance sheet reconciliations, invoicing and cash flow forecasting. 

This is a permanent, part time role working 1 day a week (preferably a Monday) and the hours are 09:00 - 17:30.

Finance Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and updating financial system Xero regularly.
  • Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice processing, payments, and customer/vendor account reconciliations.
  • Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
  • Check staff Expenses for approval.
  • Updating invoice record in Rapport 3.
  • Processing all purchase and sales invoices, and expense claims.
  • Maintaining a weekly cashflow forecast using data from the bank, Rapport 3 & P&L system.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts daily and suggesting weekly payments.
  • Resolving account discrepancies and performing account reconciliations.
  • Maintain, process and store internal documentation and reports in line with the company’s document policy.
  • Assist with account management and P&L.
  • Use the company’s software to add bills and raise draft invoices.

Finance Administrator Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience of working through the full accounting lifecycle.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of accruals, pre-payments, banking and balance sheet reconciliations and journaling.
  • Xero experience is essential.
  • Rapport 3 or similar Project Management software experience is highly desirable.
  • Logical mindset, with a high attention to detail.
  • Team orientated individual, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
