Wise May are looking for a proactive Receptionist to join a fast-paced and highly regarded investment management company based in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Receptionist who enjoys being the go-to person in the office and thrives in a varied, people-focused role. This is much more than a front-of-house position, you'll be responsible for keeping the office running smoothly, supporting senior leadership, coordinating travel and meetings, and ensuring an exceptional experience for both employees and visitors.
This is a full-time, permanent office-based position, with the working hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Receptionist duties include:

Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, deliveries and office guests, providing professional front-of-house cover.

Managing the reception area including welcoming visitors and overseeing building access and security passes.

Coordinating global travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, while liaising closely with the companies travel agent.

Booking and preparing meeting rooms, ensuring they are tidy, stocked and ready for use throughout the day.

Ordering and replenishing office stationery, refreshments and supplies, and managing incoming deliveries.

Producing weekly travel updates and outlining upcoming travel schedules for the senior management.

Sending regular office communications regarding building maintenance, office disruptions and important employee updates.

Organising company events, including the annual Christmas party and fortnightly staff lunches.

Supporting the Office Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the office and assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks.
Receptionist experience required:

Previous experience within a Receptionist role.

A professional communication style, with the ability to liaise with senior executives and the CEO on a daily basis.

Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to use initiative and manage multiple priorities.

A mature and discreet manner when handling confidential information.
