Wise May are looking for a
highly organised Administrative Assistant to join a well-established and highly regarded charity that works with individual donors and corporate partners to unlock the value held in shareholdings for charitable causes. This is a Part-time role working 3 days a week (1 day in the office and 2 days from home), with the working hours of 9am - 5:30pm.
Administrative Assistant key responsibilities:
- Processing and maintaining accurate records of donations and transactions.
- Managing internal databases (Microsoft Dynamics CRM – training provided).
- Preparing the Charity’s Gift Aid claim.
- Responding to enquiries and supporting donor and stakeholder communications.
- General administration including post, filing, and document organisation.
- Assisting with reconciliations and reporting tasks.
- Liasing with beneficiary charities regarding grant payments and receipts.
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational tasks.
Administrative Assistant key skills and experience required:
- Proven experience working in an Administrative position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- A proactive and reliable approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
- Agile and adaptable with strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in charity or financial services is beneficial but not essential.
