Wise May are a growing independent Recruitment Agency based in the heart of Beckenham with a large client base in Central London. Working in a collaborative team who go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional service to our candidates and clients at all times. You will be responsible for building your client base and sourcing candidates for Temporary, Contract and Permanent Office Support roles across London. 

This is a full time, permanent role. We offer hybrid working once you have passed probation (4 days in the office / 1 day remote) and the hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday (with 1 hour for lunch), flexibility may be required outside of these hours depending on urgency of a task and workload. 

Recruitment Consultant key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Canvassing clients from a pre-existing warm and cold database to sell the services you and Wise May offer
  • Arrange face to face meetings / MS Teams calls to meet with prospective clients
  • Building strong relationships with potential clients and keeping in touch via phone, email, face to face meetings and client entertainment
  • Building and maintaining a strong network of clients and candidates through various channels; LinkedIn, database, networking events
  • Identifying possible leads and following them up
  • Building a pipeline of prospective clients
  • Building and establishing a Permanent and Temporaries desk for Support and Business Services roles in London and the UK
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle to include negotiating fees and charge rates, taking job briefs from clients, advertising roles, sourcing candidates, arranging interviews, completing interview prep calls, obtaining feedback, managing offer negotiations and compliance.
  • Resourcing for roles via your own network and our existing database, job boards, LinkedIn and social media
  • Acting as a liaison between the clients and the candidates giving sound advice and guidance throughout the entire Recruitment process, demonstrating honesty and integrity

Recruitment Consultant skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrable interest or previous experience working in a sales role
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build relationships and rapport
  • Used to working in a fast-paced, target driven and high-volume environment
  • System Skills: Competent in MS Office and CRM databases
  • Resourceful with the ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to think outside the box and think of ways to be different to your competition
  • Positive and collaborative attitude
  • Composed under pressure, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities, exercising responsible judgement when appropriate
