Wise May are recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to join a fast paced Facilities team with an Financial company in the City.
 
This is a permanent, full time office-based role. The hours for this role are 09:15 - 17:15.
 
Facilities Assistant duties and responsibilities:
  • Carry out morning floor walks to identify any facilities issues
  • Prepare meeting rooms and event spaces
  • Overseeing office maintenance and repairs
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Take responsibility for keeping the mailroom clean, tidy, and well-organised
  • Monitor printer supplies throughout the building
  • Managing tickers via the business ticket system
  • Oversee stationery inventory, place regular orders, and distribute supplies
  • Actively support the team in maintaining a clean, well-presented, and welcoming office environment
  • Receive and distribute fresh fruit deliveries to all tea kitchens across the building three times a week
Facilities Assistant key skills and experience required:
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Skilled in Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience in a professional services or corporate office environment
  • Experience in building and/or facilities management as well a knowledge of Health & Safety is desirable.
