Wise May are looking for a customer orientated Support Executive with current experience working in the General Insurance industry to join a reinsurance client based in the City. As a Support Executive you will be working in the operations team, responsible for monitoring and responding to a range of insurance queries.
This is a full time, permanent position, with hybrid working.
Support Executive duties and responsibilities:
- Deliver fast and accurate support to customer queries, acting as first line of support on both a proactive and reactive basis using the internal ticketing system.
- Train and become an expert on all types of queries the business receives, including eligibility, bordereaux management system and associated reporting for both ceded risks and claims, processes and end user system use in accordance with operational procedures.
- Coordinate cases between Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Market Engagement teams where cross-functional consideration and input is required.
- Own queries from receipt to resolution, ensuring response time and first time resolution KPIs meet expected standards.
- Conduct analysis on trends, insights, and patterns from queries received.
- Perform validatory checks on claims and premium data received.
- Escalate complex or delayed cases to Operational leadership promptly.
Support Executive key skills and experience required:
- Current experience of working in the General Insurance industry is essential for this position.
- Strong knowledge of insurance operations, products, and industry.
- Data oriented with experience using Excel and Power BI.
- Proficient working with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Zendesk (or similar ticketing systems).
- Good organisational skills, manages own time well and prioritises workload independently.
- Effective relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, confident in engaging with customers and colleagues across different business departments.
- Strong analytical skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
