Wise May are looking for a proactive Global Operations Coordinator with a background in compliance to join a global network organisation comprised of independent advisory and accountancy firms. As a Global Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Manager and Chief People Officer with a range of operational and administrative tasks to include governance, quality assurance, network membership compliance and arranging team events.
This is a full time, permanent role, with hybrid working (at least 1 day a week in the office based in Victoria) and the hours are 9.30am-5.30pm.
Global Operations Coordinator duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting the running of key processes for our member firms and executive office team, to provide an exceptional member and employee experience.
- Providing exceptional support to network member firms; liaising with firm Partners and staff on multiple enquiries and ad hoc requests related to membership administrative and compliance queries.
- Supporting the Compliance Manager on a range of operational and administrative tasks relating to Governance, Quality Assurance, Board Paper production, Network Membership Compliance and Finances.
- Proactively managing office operations and supporting finance processes and monitoring.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance is adhered and escalating as appropriate
- Supporting the Chief People Officer with key people processes, including but not limited to, Onboarding new employees, HR information systems and arranging employee/team events.
- Acting as the primary interface for our office, including being the ‘go to’ for team members and the WeWork Community Team liaison.
- Working closely together with the Compliance Manager on maintaining our trademarks programme through speciality IP legal advisors.
- Coordinating any necessary legalisation of documents through notary services.
Global Operations Coordinator key skills and experience required:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a compliance orientated role, in a global environment, preferable a network organisation.
- Highly organised with careful attention to detail.
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Confident communicator with strong relationship building skills.
- Ability to think and act in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong service orientation.
- Positive attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and dig deep to achieve goals.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritise and use your initiative.
- Team player and hands-on contributor to all areas of work.
- Open to embracing new technologies and automation tools.
