Wise May is recruiting for a proactive Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) Assistant to join an MGA to support the DUA team with a range of tasks.
This is a full time, 3 month FTC with hybrid working (4 days in the office and 1 day remote).
DUA Assistant duties and responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day operational and technical support to the DUA Team.
- Responsible for bordereaux processing and reporting.
- Contribute to production and development of Management Information that provide insights to DUA portfolio performance.
- Working with brokers and other external parties as required to ensure appropriate information is received and reported upon .
- Assisting with general DUA underwriting enquiries and due diligence processes.
- Support the function by maintaining relevant DUA pre and post-bind approval documentation.
- Contributing to the development of DUA processes and systems
DUA Assistant key skills and experience required:
- Recent experience working in the Insurance industry with a good understanding of DUA and bordereaux reporting.
- Ability to review and interpret data accurately.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and willing to learn.
- Able to work in and contribute to the team.
- A good communicator, with the ability to act in a professional manner.
- Able to manage and take responsibility for own workload, seeking assistance where required.
- Effective relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, confident in engaging with colleagues across different business departments.
- Strong analytical skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
