Wise May are looking for a Bid Coordinator to join a Surveying company based in Beckenham. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail oriented individual with previous bid or tender experience who is looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive team.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Bids and alongside two other Bid Coordinators, you will be responsible for managing the bid process from initial opportunity identification through to submission, helping to produce high quality tender responses and supporting the company's business development activities.

This is a full time, 12 month fixed term contract, with hybrid working after probation (4 days a week in the office and 1 day remote) and the hours are 9am-5.30pm.  

Bid Coordinator duties and responsibilities:

  • Monitoring tender portals and identifying suitable opportunities
  • Downloading and reviewing tender documentation
  • Coordinating bid submissions and liaising with stakeholders across the business
  • Producing and formatting tender and bid documentation
  • Writing and collating responses for SQs, ITTs, framework applications and fee submissions
  • Ensuring all submissions are accurate, professionally presented and submitted within deadline
  • Maintaining bid trackers, workload trackers and tender records
  • Requesting and recording client feedback on submissions
  • Maintaining and updating the bid library and research materials
  • Creating presentations, case studies, company profiles and supporting bid materials
  • Conducting market research and supporting framework applications
  • Ensuring all documentation adheres to company branding and quality standards

Bid Coordinator skills and experience required:

  • ​​​​​​​Previous experience within a Bid Coordinator, Bid Administrator, Tender Coordinator or similar role
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office packages and Adobe Acrobat
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proactive and able to work independently when required
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable coordinating information from various departments
  • Professional telephone manner
