Marketing Assistant/Coordinator - City, London

 Overall Objective of Role:

Reporting into Marketing Manager, the role will support the team on all marketing activity with particular emphasis on customer relationship management (both internal and external), lead generation, event production and new marketing content.

Responsibilities:

Digital

  • Update and maintain website and social media.
  • Implement communications activities as outlined by the Marketing Strategy
  • Measure and evaluate digital campaigns, completion of monthly KPIs for the Marketing Director
  • Work with other departments to development video engagement

Brand management

  • Deal with requests from other departments for events, seminars, presentation material
  • To ensure consistency for the house style guide and branding guidelines
  • To understand the Corporate plan and key messages and ensure consistency across all external  and internal communications

Campaign management 

  • Implement campaigns on line through email and social media 
  • Responsible for the production of the print version and distribution of newsletters and publications
  • Support department with the best methods of communication (with a particular focus on Digital) to reach specific audiences with their activities and help them with planning if needed.

Internal Communications

  • Communicate to the staff stakeholder group and ensure they are aware of updates and developments, paying special attention to those staff based outside of the London Office and how we keep them informed and engaged.
  • Organise ad hoc staff presentation sessions as required.
  • Provide support as required to the various departments and functions

 

 

Technical skills/Specialist knowledge

  • A genuine understanding of the principles of marketing
  • First-hand experience of executing marketing techniques in a B2B environment
  • Strong planning development and implementation skills
  • Understanding of the latest digital marketing and social media techniques
  • Confident managing and updating websites, intranet etc
  • Knowledge and experience of using content management and web analytics
  • Comfortable writing copy for a number of mediums
  • Market insight knowledge and skills
  • Able to manage and give direction to third party agencies
